All teams have their own KPIs and roadmaps. Its an age-old problem that all product companies have to tackle, and so do we!

532930 'New!' badges on Agoda's homepage
As the owner of the homepage, we wanted to make it better and remove these badges. If everything is screaming for the user’s attention, nothing is really getting it.

What next?
I led discussions with design and product stakeholders from all funnels regarding cleaning up the ‘new’ badge
Based on the recency of the funnels and future business goals, the conclusion was:
